obiex overhaul
We had begun extending Obiex into live events, when the first and most important wave struck. Our marketing lead, Ty was having trouble converting his leads, despite having an impeccable pitch. The point of failure was our onboarding flow; it was less wonderful than Ty’s pitch.

This should probably be a blog post, but... some context
The redesign didn't start with a brief, it started with a marketing report.
In 2021, we redesigned our mobile application, and our web application in 2022. It was a case of ‘we’ve built an MVP and found product market fit, let’s make the product better’. And it was a good call at the time, but as our product grew, it also outgrew, not just our designs but also our processes and policies and the way we approached work to be done.

We will give Ty his flowers, he didn’t come raging at us despite our being the clog (not cog) in his wheel, but he opened up a door, one that we could all see through the corner of our eyes during every quick fix and patch up, but dared not look into, afraid to find what we did find; a somewhat muddy and dark path.
Nothing much, just the evolution of story of our onboarding screens
